When she isn’t busy making super awesome things happen for her clients, or generously helping out her teammates, Jessica enjoys a variety of outdoor activities (including biking, boating, and fishing), cheering for the Hawkeyes, and playing with her puppy and kitty.

If you could have any superpower which would you choose and why?

Teleportation. That way I could go visit my family and friends around the state and country without having to plan extra days just for driving.

 

Where would you like to go that you’ve never been before?
I’m going to pick two – Bora Bora and Paris. I haven’t done much traveling outside of the US and those are two places that I would love to visit someday.

 

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I bounced around between a few things. The most memorable ones are teacher, interior designer and psychologist.

 

What is your favorite lunch spot near the office? What do you order?
I’m still trying to learn all of the places around town since I’m still relatively new to the area but I’d say Little Chicago is one of my favorites so far. I just get a simple ham, turkey and cheese sandwich with their homemade chips. It may seem kind of boring to some people but it’s a tasty meal and it reminds me of a place I loved going when we lived in Des Moines.

 

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?
I love theater. My mom works for a dinner theater in Rock Island, IL, so I’ve been going to shows since I was little. There is just something special about getting to experience live productions instead of highly edited film and tv (don’t get me wrong though, I enjoy those too!)

 

What are three things still left on your bucket list?
I’ve never given much thought to an official bucket list but a few things that I’d like to do are visit all 50 states, see a show on broadway in New York, and start my own business. Well, I guess now I have a bucket list!

 

What’s the strangest talent you have?
I can touch my tongue to the tip of my nose. Not much of a talent but that’s what I’ve got.

 

What is your favorite social media platform and why?
Twitter is probably my favorite form of social media right now. I love that I can find tons of information about a variety of things I enjoy in one place. It’s also a great way to connect with people who have similar interests.
