App of the Month: 10 Reasons I Absolutely NEED Elevate Pro

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″]

As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t like paying for apps. But every once in awhile, one comes along that I instantly want to buy, and even though Elevate has a great free version, I really, really want to switch to Elevate Pro.

That’s how awesome this app is. I want it to take my money.

Here’s the thing. I’m a girl on a budget, and I tend to be impulsive when it comes to buying things that I think I need. If I’m going to fork over $4.99 every month for an app, I need to be able to justify that to my inner accountant. Therefore, I’ve forced myself to use the free version for the past couple of weeks, so that I could construct a logical argument in defense of my purchase.

So, here it is – 10 reasons that I absolutely have to have Elevate Pro.

#1: It will help me develop “real world” skills.
Elevate, AKA Your Personal Brain Trainer, provides a variety of games, or “training activities,” that stimulate and challenge your brain in a multitude of ways. These games cover a range of skills, such as listening, estimation, eloquence, and comprehension, just to name a few. You know, stuff I’ll actually use.

#2: I would get all the games…
In total, there are 29 games that you can play, but 10 of them are Pro-Only. Ten whole skill sets that I can’t work on unless I unlock them with Pro. That would make me, like, ten times better and stuff. Right?

#3: …and I can play them whenever I want…
Right now, in the free version, only three games are “unlocked” each day. With Pro, you have unlimited access to all the games, all the time. Yes, please!

#4: …as many times as I want!
Even those three “unlocked” games have limits in place. Once you’ve reached your maximum number of tries to improve your score, you’re cut off. Sometimes this happens just as I feel like I’m getting into a groove, so it would be great to have the unlimited access of the Pro version.

#5: It’s better than playing Trivia Crack non-stop.
Confession time: I’m slightly addicted to Trivia Crack. And by slightly, I mean completely. And because of Trivia Crack, I’ve learned a lot of really fascinating facts, but let’s face it: most of what I learn is fairly useless trivia that I won’t do much with outside of Challenge Rounds. If I had unlimited access to Elevate, then I could spend my game-playing time much more wisely! …maybe.

#6: One new game every month!
According to the Elevate website, they come out with one new game a month. Every month! How can I miss out on that awesomeness? What super neat skills could I be building if I could play a new game every month? I don’t know – because I don’t have Elevate Pro yet!

#7: Because it will help me in my career.
That’s right, I’m throwing down the career card, but it’s totally valid. Writing is something that I do on a daily basis, whether it be blogs, or copywriting, or emails. Communication is an essential skill in my field, and for that reason alone, I benefit from this app. But it’s not just my writing skills that will improve, but my ability to listen to, comprehend, and retain what people say to me.

#8: I already see improvement.
In the short time that I’ve been playing Elevate, I’ve been able to track my own progress, and I really am getting better in almost every area. I can only imagine how well-trained my brain will be if I can play it any time that I want!

#9: My math skills are embarrassing.
They’re so embarrassing, I don’t want to talk about it! Let’s just say, it would be great if I could train my brain to process numbers a little more quickly.

#10: And my other skills aren’t as mad as I thought they were.
I didn’t think anything could be more embarrassing than my math skills, but apparently my listening skills are downright atrocious! Interestingly enough, what I’ve found after using this app is that I’m not as strong as I thought I was in the areas that I consider myself proficient in. So, I really do need all of the help that I can get!

And if all of those reasons aren’t convincing, how about this: Elevate was selected by Apple as 2014’s App of the Year. That’s how awesome it is!

So….I should absolutely, totally get Elevate Pro, right??
